Within the framework of the NYMphyto project - secured as a matching grant funded by the NextGenerationEU through the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic (VAIA, VA) - we at CENVIS, Ltd., in collaboration with the Department of Plant Physiology and the Department of Geochemistry (Comenius University in Bratislava), decided to expand the original (parent) NYMPHE project by adding another highly challenging contaminated matrix: leachate from industrial and municipal waste landfills.

The ALL4BIOREM Cluster Workshop provided an opportunity to showcase the latest advances in bioremediation and strengthen collaboration between leading European research projects. During the event, NYMPHE partners presented their recent achievements and contributed to discussions on the future of innovative remediation technologies.

How can biological processes help tackle environmental pollution while supporting the goals of the EU Zero Pollution Action Plan and accelerating the shift toward a circular economy? These topics were discussed during the webinar “The Next Frontier: Training Microorganisms for Combatting Pollution”, where experts from the NYMPHE project shared their latest work on biological approaches to pollution remediation.
