Check out what happened in the NYMPHE project in 2024!
It was a year full of hard work, action, and meaningful meetings. With each passing year, our efforts bring us closer to groundbreaking results in the field of bioremediation.
Let’s take a look at what we accomplished in 2024 to move closer to a cleaner, healthier environment.
In January 2024, the consortium met in Alcalá de Henares, Spain, to share ideas, review progress, and build partnerships.

The inaugural workshop explored NYMPHE's bioremediation concepts, ambitions, and strategies, with partners sharing insights and evaluating solutions.

The 7th Symposium on Biosorption and Bioremediation fostered knowledge exchange, networking, and global collaboration in bioremediation research.
EU BIOREMEDIATION CLUSTER
Since 2023, NYMPHE has been part of the EU bioremediation cluster Alliance for Environmental Bioremediation (ALL4BIOREM), uniting 10 EU-funded projects: MIBIREM, SYMBIOREM, BIOSYSMO, NYMPHE, EDAPHOS, ISLANDR, pHYBi, IASIS, LIFE MySoil, and BIOREM.

Bioremediation Cluster Workshop
During BioBio 2024, the EU Bioremediation Cluster organized a workshop titled "The Potential of Bioremediation for Clean Soils and Groundwater in Europe," featuring members of the ALL4BIOREM.

The Cluster also drafted a joint policy paper for EU decision-makers, advocating for continued investment and research in bioremediation.
